Once we have received your application you will be promoted on all of our social media accounts. We can give you the opportunity to gain new followers and reach a greater audience of art appreciators, critics and purchasers.
As each round of judging passes, we will continue to promote your work. You will be featured not only on our social media but on our website in preparation for the People's Choice Award'.
By entering the Visual Art Open awards, you have the chance to win not only a cash prize towards new work, but a mentoring package and an exhibition spot to further develop your career as an artist.
As well as a prestigious judging panel of art experts, collectors and artists, we have the ‘People's Choice Award’, which allows the public to vote on their favourite work.
At the finalists’ preview evening, you can network with new contacts, guests, and other artists, with a potential to sell your work.
Our PR team will give you the opportunity to be promoted in the regional and national press.
As a finalist your work will be included in our VAO brochures, which are handed out to everybody who attends the preview evening and Chester Arts Fair.
